Hybrid role
Requirements
In this role you will be responsible for the end-to-end administration and continuous improvement of SAP Basis systems running on Microsoft Windows Server and Linux platforms. You will collaborate closely with Deloitte partners internal IT teams and global stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery operational excellence and adherence to Deloitte IT standards.
You will also contribute to projects focused on secure SAP data handling including encryption platforms while ensuring system stability compliance and performance.
Key Responsibilities
SAP Basis & Landscape Management
Maintain and administer SAP landscapes running on Linux and Microsoft Windows Server.
Perform daily system monitoring and ensure timely resolution of incidents and problems within SLA timelines.
Execute system maintenance activities including SAP upgrades patching kernel updates and SAP Security Notes.
Manage SAP Content Server installation upgrades and ongoing support.
Oversee system capacity availability and performance in line with change management standards.
Project Delivery & Architecture
Participate in SAP implementations migrations upgrades and support projects.
Design build and maintain sustainable SAP Basis solutions and Proofs of Concept.
Prepare detailed functional and technical design documents based on customer requirements.
Translate business and technical issues into long-term sustainable SAP solutions.
Create effort estimations and hour planning for projects and minor system changes.
Maintain thorough project documentation and administration using approved tools.
Security Integration & Infrastructure
Administer and oversee Linux-based encryption platforms protecting SAP data stored outside the EU.
Ensure operational health of critical components such as SAP NetWeaver and SAP Web Dispatcher.
Support integrations using SAP PI/PO and proxy-based communication between ABAP back-end systems.
Manage Linux systems with Apache Proxy configurations.
Work with data encryption and decryption tools to ensure data security and compliance.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Collaborate with Dutch colleagues and international teams including Deloitte Global ITS and NSE (ITS).
Coordinate and co-monitor project progress and service changes across platforms and infrastructure.
Drive continuous improvements in SAP Portal and SAP Gateway to enhance functionality and user experience.
Work closely with Deloitte partners to identify gaps ensure quality delivery and resolve issues efficiently.
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical Expertise
Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience on the SAP platform
Strong technical knowledge of:
SAP BW ECC CRM SRM
SAP PI/PO Gateway Solution Manager Portal
Experience with SAP integrations using PI/PO
Expertise in SAP NetWeaver SAP Web Dispatcher and SAP Technical protocols
Experience with Solution Manager for operations and monitoring
Knowledge of Linux systems Apache Proxy configurations and Windows OS
Experience with SAP Content Server
Exposure to Azure Cloud Platform
Experience in SAP implementations migrations upgrades and operations/support
Consulting & Soft Skills
Consulting experience across one or more functional SAP components
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced dynamic environment
Customer-oriented proactive and pragmatic mindset
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken)
Strong affinity with SAP and Microsoft technologies

Required Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Business Administration or equivalentOREquivalent professional experience and relevant certifications in SAP Basis or infrastructure technologies
