Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a residential / recycling collection side-load and/or rear-load truck ancillary equipment and hydraulic system to collect solid waste and/or recyclables on specified collection route.
Ensure that service is completed in accordance with established company policies and contract obligations
Responsible for daily pre and post trip inspections of trucks assigned
Complete daily routes as assigned by the Route supervisors
Satisfy customer needs for service
Perform end of day driver check-ins to ensure complete and accurate paperwork completion
Ensure assigned routes are completed in a timely and safe manner
May perform some additional responsibilities as assigned by the Route Supervisors
Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) desired.
Must possess a DZ/AZ Drivers License
Minimum one (1) years of commercial driving experience
Must be able to meet relevant criteria for safety sensitive functions according to Company standards
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to safely drive the truck and operate the equipment
