The Warehouse Supervisor directly supervises and coordinates all activities in the warehouse department to maximize productivity on assigned shifts and areas. This includes planning assigning and directing work addressing product and employee complaints and resolving problems. This person carries out supervisory responsibilitiesin accordance withthe Companys policies OSHAregulationsand applicable laws while applying continuous improvement methods.

Supervises allphaseswarehouse operations and activities including warehouse schedules product put-awayoperationsand inventory warehouse management.
Maintains inventory and product loss control coordinatestimelyandaccuratereceiving and ensures safety/operational guidelines are met.
Ensure proper procedures are in place and being followed for productionputaway efficiency quality of product employee safety and state and federal guidelines.
Works with plant management and other supervisory staff to assign direct review andmonitorwork of supervised staff to maximize productivity in the warehouse and shipping department.

Establishes and monitors employees work schedules to meetneedsof business.
Support and lead Warehouse Coordinator activities and oversee SAP transactions to ensure transaction integrity.
Support inventory activities to includeidentifying investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies resulting from the use of exception codes.
Recommend improvements to reduce costs and drive productivity within the department while achieving the targeted Sales to Service Goals.
Analyzes and resolves work problems orassistsworkers in solving work problems.
Maintains time and shipping records asrequired. Prepare reports for management review.
Ensurethe warehouse work areas are clean and always organized.
Supervises and coordinates product rework activities.
Collaborate with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
Provides supervision of assigned employees in scheduling and daily activities ensuring effectiveselection retention feedback disciplinary action and performance management. If a collective bargaining agreement existsmayparticipatein grievances investigations or other contract related activities and discussions.
Provides effective employee training and instruction. Complete training documentation and progress.
Oversees instruction implementation and enforcement of policies as they relate to employees.
Adhere to the Saputo code of ethics and actively apply the Saputo values.
Performs other duties asrequesteddirectedor assigned.
You Are Best Suited for The Role If YouHaveTheFollowing Experience Skills and Qualifications...
Aminimum of 2yearsplant experience in a warehouse setting or distribution center work environment at a supervisor level position. Leadership experience is required and key to successfully fulfill the job responsibilities to manage employees and 3rd-party drivers from trucking companies. Anassociatesdegree ofbachelorsdegree is preferred.
Work experience in a union facility is a plus.
Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.
Experience leading and following Safety/Security Policies and Procedures.
Ability to follow all Sanitation and Quality Policies and Procedures and report and follow through on any deficiencies.
Lift truck certification or the ability to obtaina lifttruck certification (Powered Industrial Trucks).Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Outlook Excel Teams) and computer-based applications such as SAP or other type of electronic operations system is a plus.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs

Ability to work in manufacturing environment which includes but not limitedto:noise changing temperatures (hot wet cold humid)standing/walking/bending/stooping/climbingstairs maneuvering around manufacturing equipment consistently throughout the shift.
Physical lifting up to 40-lbsunassistedfrequentlythroughout the shift.
Working with chemicals wearing personal protective equipment and following approved chemical handling procedures.
Good visual acuity with the ability to distinguish vision abilities required by the job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Fine manipulation and hand dexterity including ability to grip and squeeze;handle or feel objectstoolsor controls; reach with hands and arms
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)to includebump cap hearing and eye protection. This alsoincludesadditionalPPE requirements as defined for the position activities.
