We are looking for a detail-oriented MIS & Data Analytics Executive with hands-on experience in FMCG or sales-driven organizations. This role is responsible for creating and managing structured MIS systems analyzing sales and trade-related data and transforming raw data into meaningful insights. The position plays a key role in supporting senior leadership and sales teams by enabling data-backed decision-making performance tracking and business planning.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare update and manage daily weekly and monthly MIS reports covering sales distribution and trade activities to ensure timely visibility of business performance
Analyze sales performance schemes promotions and return on investment (ROI) across various sales channels to identify trends gaps and opportunities
Design automate and maintain Excel-based dashboards trackers and reports to improve efficiency and reduce manual reporting efforts
Ensure data accuracy reconciliation and consistency by validating data from multiple sources such as sales finance and operations systems
Provide trend analysis variance analysis and actionable insights to support sales planning target achievement and management reviews
Coordinate closely with sales finance and operations teams to align data resolve discrepancies and support reporting requirements
Requirements
- 25 years of relevant experience in MIS or Data Analytics roles preferably within FMCG or sales-led organizations
Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel including Pivot Tables Power Query VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP formulas and dashboard creation
Strong understanding of primary and secondary sales data sales schemes promotions and visibility or trade spends
High attention to detail with strong analytical problem-solving and numerical skills
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced data-intensive environments with tight timelines
Good communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams
