Shift: Night Shift 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Weekend Coverage: Every Other Weekend
Float Requirement: Yes (ICU units only)

Compensation

Gross Weekly Pay: $2311.92

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse for a travel assignment. The RN will provide high-acuity care to critically ill cardiac patients including post-operative cardiac surgery patients while working in a fast-paced ICU environment. Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to manage complex patient conditions are essential.

Required Qualifications

Active RN license (New York or compact as applicable)
Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience
Prior travel nursing experience required
Experience managing 1:2 ICU patient ratios
Proficiency with Epic EMR (preferred)

Required Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
