Salary Range: $71309.00 - $89849.00/Annually

ESSENTIAL DUTIES FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures appropriate and effective design of training solutions using needs assessments to identify and evaluate individual and/or group training requirements for employees. Based on assessed need plans develops and coordinates the delivery of individual and/or group training and instructional programs encompassing a wide range of technical operational management clinical and/or other skill areas.
- Determines applicable instructional method by utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of such methods as individual training group instruction lectures demonstrations conferences meetings and workshops.
- Recommends or utilizes vendor programs external consultants trainers or organizations which meet the training/development program goals and objectives needs assessment and instructional method desired.
- Provides guidance and direction to leadership and ensures the appropriate career development of all employees; including education training mentorship succession planning career development and job enrichment.
- Develops and implements a training database and ensures accurate identification of training and testing needs of staff by job assessment and other means. Enters and reviews all training requests to ensure trainings are in line with job duties and responsibilities; and records training feedback reviews and comments for program effectiveness.
- Evaluates effectiveness of training and development programs and utilizes training assessment data (survey) to revise and recommend changes in instructional objectives and methods. Evaluates training materials prepared by instructors such as outlines text and handouts.
- Coordinates and facilitates Leadership Development Institutes and any hospital wide training.
- Develops and maintains a library of resources for career development opportunities trainings or programs both internal and external for FDIHB employees.
- Attends meetings conferences and seminars to obtain information for use in training programs keeps abreast of technological changes and informs management of training/development program.
- Plans executes and maintains a yearly training calendar.
- Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations streamline work processes and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
- Develops and maintains the professional development budget; to ensure expenditures do not exceed annual budget limit.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MANDATORY MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
Three (3) years of experience in Staff Training and Development.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Organizational Development Healthcare Administration Human Resources Education or Business Administration.
