The Chief Advanced Practice Provider Officer (CAPPO) is a senior clinical leader responsible for the strategic vision integration governance and advancement of all Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) within AdventHealth Medical Group. The CAPPO will serve as the executive advocate for APPs and will drive excellence in quality education workforce engagement and optimal utilization of APPs in delivering whole-person care while upholding the AdventHealth mission. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership:oDevelop and implement a strategic vision for APP utilization and integration across service lines aligned with AHMGs mission and organizational as the voice of APPs at the executive table ensuring alignment with medical group policies that support expanded APP practice and innovative care the AdventHealth Mission Purpose & Vision and Values in all aspects of APP Leadership Clinical Practice and Oversight:oCollaborate with Quality Risk and Compliance to monitor Performance Metrics and implement improvement with service line and physician leaders to support team-based credentialing privileging and scope of practice alignment across & Operational Management:oLead recruitment retention and onboarding a standardized APP leadership structure with clinical leads per productivity benchmarks access targets and utilization Experience & Development:oCreate and maintain APP career ladders compensation models and mentorship APP leadership development programs and annual APP a culture of recognition engagement and & Innovation:oCollaborate with quality and safety teams to integrate APPs in system digital health AI and data analytics to enhance APP APPs in strategic planning population health and research :Florida Licensed (or eligible) and credentialed Advanced Practice Provider (NP PA-C CRNA or CNS)Doctorate preferred (DNP DMSc or equivalent); Masters required. 10 years of clinical practice within a specialty practice; 5 years in leadership in a multi-site or matrixed system setting. Proven track record of APP program development change leadership and C-Suite executive collaboration.
