We are a boutique surety broker specializing in serving large publicly and privately held companies. We are the largest independent surety-only broker in the world and are committed to providing bespoke surety solutions. We are seeking a dynamic Senior Operations Advisor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Includes but may not be limited to:
- Supervise mentor educate and lead members of the bond operations team to ensure high quality and levels of service for surety programs. Role to begin with one direct report but expectation is to grow the managerial duties in time.
- Review bonds for quality control measurements.
- Represent the company at various surety related functions.
- Work as part of a team to manage the clients daily bond needs including new and renewal requests.
- Facilitate required information exchange between clients and underwriters to secure timely approvals issuance and delivery of requested bonds.
- Maintain and negotiate ongoing communications with clients underwriters agents and/or producers to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Manage all administrative service delivery functions including bond issuance modifications renewals cancellations invoicing and file and database management.
- Assist in underwriting data collection and review for determining surety placement of new or transitioning business.
- Work as part of a team to ensure high levels of customer service and quality of bond issuance.
- Crosstrain and work closely with bond team with emphasis on new business program placement or transitions overseeing bond issuance and service.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree
- 5 plus years of prior experience in surety underwriting risk management or related field preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to collect analyze and interpret complex data.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
- Ability to effectively multitask and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to effectively convey information to diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software applications.
- Knowledge of surety bond regulations and industry standards is a plus.
- Proficiency in contract review and analysis.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (intermittently) as needed.
- Flexible mindset to adapt to potential changes in job responsibilities over time.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $90000 and $125000 per year. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location job-related knowledge skills and experience. The base salary range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors including but not limited to prior experience relevant expertise current business needs and market factors. Final offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally salary wages may be only part of the total compensation package. The total compensation package for this position will also include eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
