DescriptionCore Job Responsibilities
- Own production layout planning. Develop long term strategic space planning and short-term execution plan
- Establish layout plan to support NPI start-up or product transfer
- Coordinate and work closely with Operation Team and Facilities Team to execute re-layout activities without any safety issue
- Budgetary: Work out budgetary for quarterly and annual planning
- Lead and drive project implementation including performing market survey to come out best solution.
- Coach junior IE to resolve issues related to layout or budgetary. Provide guidance on capacity analysis or headcount analysis to junior IE.
- Introduce industry practice related to layout capacity and headcount planning for efficiency improvement.
- Driving productivity improvement to optimize space utilization or headcount efficiency.
- Leverage lean or VSM to eliminate waste or improve process / material flow.
- Expand the scope as IE representative to support MES implementation.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering discipline from a recognized university
- Min. 6-8 years of related experience in layout capacity and headcount planning
- Experience working in global environment will add advantage.
- Strong project management skills and experience will add advantage
- Excellent quantitative analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong familiarity in time motion study value stream mapping & Process mapping
- Good leadership and strong communication skills to lead productivity improvement
