Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday Friday 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Pay Rate: $45 $51 per hour
Weekly Pay: $1687.50 $1912.50
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Registered Dietitian for a 13-week contract assignment in a high-quality clinical healthcare environment. Under the direction of the Clinical Nutrition leadership team the Registered Dietitian will deliver comprehensive nutrition assessment therapy and education to patients and their families. This role is ideal for a clinician who values patient-centered care and collaboration within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments using electronic medical records (EMR) and clinical data
Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans
Assess and manage enteral and parenteral nutrition support
Provide specialized nutrition care including pediatric populations and metabolic disorders
Perform accurate nutrient calculations and clinical data analysis
Document all nutrition care in accordance with regulatory and facility standards
Provide individualized nutrition counseling and education to patients and families
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and discharge planning
Precept and mentor dietetic interns including evaluations and feedback
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Credentials
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution (Masters degree preferred)
Registered Dietitian (RD) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
New York State licensure/certification preferred
RD-eligible candidates completing certification within 3 months may be considered
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of clinical nutrition experience (dietetic internship included)
Experience with pediatric nutrition and/or inborn errors of metabolism strongly preferred
Skills & Competencies
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage a diverse patient population in a fast-paced clinical setting
