Master Data Specialist

We are now seeking a Master Data Specialist for a one-year temporary position to help us further build the future of food. You will report to the Product & Master Data Manager and be part of a great team of colleagues based across our locations in Europe.

As a Master Data Specialist you will be responsible for managing and maintaining high-quality master data within your assigned data domainsuch as customers vendors items and bills of materials (BOMs). You will ensure that all data is accurate up to date and compliant with both internal standards and relevant industry or legal addition you will play a key role in ensuring timely and correct data notification to customers while also ensuring that data successfully passes both internal and external validation processes.

What you will do

• Execute relevant steps in the Create-Update-Delete (CRUD) process for the appropriate Master Data (MD) entities including mass updates.

• Maintain high-quality accurate and up-to-date master data within Paulig and across various systems such as PDM ERP MES and Nicelabel.

• Ensure data accuracy from the consumer unit level to the transportation level aligning it with both internal and external requirements.

• Publish and share product data with customers or make it available for other external channels across different markets.

In this role you will also secure the establishment implementation and execution of the MD process with stakeholders and support business data stewards in the master/product data processes. You need to ensure that the relevant stakeholders are knowledgeable of any changes in the process. You will also take part or drive master data related NPD/improvement projects or initiatives and act as the partner and first point of contact to local markets for data related topics.

What we expect from you

You would be a great fit if your background and experience would look similar to this

• Bachelor or equivalent work experience

• Hands on experience working with Master Data and related master data management processes

• Experience with PDM systems and/or ERP solutions advantageous having worked with M3

• Team player

• Eye for details and structured approach

• System and data interest or background

• First time right mentality

• Fluency in English on a professional level both oral and written
