Pay Rate: $60 $73/hr
Estimated Weekly Pay: $2250 $2737.50
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Special Procedures / Interventional Radiology Technologist to support a high-volume interventional radiology and cardiology environment. This role involves close collaboration with physicians and clinical teams providing technical expertise during complex vascular urological and endovascular procedures while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and sterile technique.
Key Responsibilities
Operate imaging equipment for interventional and vascular procedures including angiography embolization and endovascular interventions
Assist physicians with complex procedures such as nephrostomies ureteral stent placements uterine artery embolization and cholecystostomies
Perform scrub and circulator duties ensuring strict adherence to sterile field protocols
Set up procedure rooms manage equipment and support efficient case workflow
Utilize vascular closure devices (e.g. Perclose StarClose) and assist with laser-assisted procedures
Monitor patients throughout procedures including recognition of dysrhythmias
Use automated medication dispensing systems (e.g. Omnicell) as part of procedural workflow
Collaborate effectively within a fast-paced clinical setting including teaching or community hospital environments
Requirements & Qualifications
Certifications & Licensure
ARRT (R) Current Radiography certification
CCI (RCIS) or equivalent specialty certification (required)
Active Rhode Island State License (required at time of submission)
Current BLS certification
Experience & Skills
Hands-on experience as a Scrub and Circulator in interventional radiology or vascular procedures
Strong technical knowledge of angiography stenting and vascular access procedures
First-time travelers welcome (no prior permanent or staff employment at this facility)
Previous experience in a Teaching Hospital or Charge Technologist role preferred
