Location Details: Remote India

Are you searching for an outstanding chance to define a significant impact GoDaddys Personalized Recommendations and Ads Platform teams need a versatile Senior Software Development Engineer to build and improve our Next Best Action platform and Ads experience. This role focuses on global-facing powerful AI-based personalization of the GoDaddy customer experience.

Our software engineers own their product and platform end-to-end ensuring flawless build code and data quality. What youll get to do...

• Contribute to the development stack from the API through the persistence layer
• Write highly scalable highly available cloud-ready applications
• Use data and analytics to improve the product and customer experience
• Solve end-to-end problems across the service stack
• Be accountable for code quality including writing unit and integration tests
• Be proficient in ETL build implementation and maintenance
• Develop APIs and write code to transform and enrich data in both batch and streaming scenarios
• Work collaboratively with a distributed team
• Perform code reviews to suggest encourage and support coding guidelines
• Lead technical projects through architecture build and implementation phases

Your experience should include...

• 5years of experience in the software engineering field developing large-scale distributed applications
• Solid background in a programming language like Java Python or Golang
• Strong foundation in data structures algorithms software development microservices and cloud computing
• Experience in Frontend libraries (JavaScript Node React) microservices cloud computing distributed systems and data processing!
• Experience building CI/CD and server/deployment automation solutions
• Extensive experience building software using Agile concepts and processes
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work interactively in a small team

You might also have...

• BS/MS in computer science engineering or a related field
• Experience with Amazon AWS
• Experience working with containerized solutions
• Experience with SQL and non-SQL databases
• Strong understanding of software security guidelines
• Experience with Hadoop-related technology such as Spark Hive and other Big Data technologies
• Experience with data analytics and machine learning
• Experience with ElasticSearch and search technology
• A passion for developing elegant and brand-new solutions for real-world business problems
