Position Summary
The organization is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN Physician to join its Womens Health team in a moonlighting capacity. Essential Responsibilities
Provide obstetric and gynecologic coverage on a moonlighting basis
Manage labor and delivery patients including triage and inpatient care
Perform gynecologic evaluations and manage acute OB/GYN presentations
Collaborate with nursing staff midwives anesthesiology and neonatal teams
Respond to OB/GYN consults and emergencies as scheduled
Ensure accurate timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and families
Adhere to hospital policies quality standards and patient safety initiatives
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Eligible for or active Connecticut medical licensure
Ability to work independently in an inpatient OB/GYN setting
Strong clinical judgment communication and teamwork skills
Prior hospital-based OB/GYN experience preferred
