Youre joining Planhats in-house creative agencyStudio Planhat.
Were building a disruptive B2B visual identity across web social and traditional print media channels embracing new methods like AI (Midjourney Visual Electric Runway) and building plug-and-play design systems for GTM teams that allow us to scale high-quality output infinitely.
Were a team thats always hungry for new challenges. We care more about initiative taste and craft than titles and do all our brand and design work in-house instead of delegating out to agencies.
We believe strong ideas are expressed through visuals not decks documents or long meetings. We value designers who think in motion and communicate through making. Were not researchers or prototypers we generate production-ready work at scale every single day.
We believe the best creative work happens through close in-person collaboration which is why this role is based in our London hub.
Role
As Studio Planhats founding Brand Motion Designer you will be the first to bring the Planhat brand to life through motion animation and storytelling. Youll be responsible for defining the principles rhythm and emotional language of motion across the entire Planhat brand; crafting motion systems that scale across channelsproduct marketing social campaigns ads and eventsand helping define how we use movement to communicate clearly and feel alive. Youll work closely with the rest of the studio to concept build and ship compelling creative work that captures attention and elevates our brand in a B2B context.
Youll:
- Design and animate compelling on-brand motion assets for launches campaigns social explainers and ads
- Implement motion through micro-interactions and effects on our website (via Framer)
- Build a scalable motion system and toolkit to ensure quality and consistency at speed across brand marketing and enablement content
- Support major product launches with high-quality motion-driven storytelling featuring our product interface
At its core were looking for someone who:
- thinks in narrative and pacing not just transitions
- cares about how something feels not just how it looks
- brings strong taste reference culture and editorial judgement
- is excited to help define how a modern B2B brand can move breathe and communicate
Trajectory
If you succeed in this role youll be Planhats first dedicated brand motion design hire. Naturally youll grow to own and evolve motion and animation across our entire visual identity as we scale. This includes:
- building innovative new brand motion styles and campaigns across web & digital;
- owning and architecting easy-to-use motion design systems for marketing and enablement to apply;
- collaborating with our in-house creative team to push the boundaries of our brand identity
