The position offers a diverse caseload including both UASC and non-UASC young people with a primary focus on planning pathways to adulthood. We seek social workers experienced in UASC and CLA capable of creatively achieving permanence for older looked-after youth. You will be part of an Outstanding Local Authority benefiting from a stable team environment regular reflective supervision and consistent management oversight.
Responsibilities:
- Fulfill statutory duties for looked-after children.
- Progress immigration applications for unaccompanied minors.
- Collaborate with specialist services to secure legal status for children.
- Manage a mixed caseload of UASC and non-UASC young people.
- Focus on pathway planning for adulthood.
- Employ creative strategies to achieve permanence for older youth.
