Organization
Invest International opened its doors in October 2021 in The Hague. We are a state-owned company set up by the Dutch government. A private company funded with public capital. We are a new organization and are continuously developing. Our people are aligned with our mission and our seven people drivers guide the way we work together.
Ready for the future - Invest-NL and Invest International join forces
With a targeted date of 1 January 2028 Invest-NL and Invest International will integrate to form a full-fledged National Promotional Institution. This integration increases the effectiveness of public investments and international cooperation improves access to financing for entrepreneurs and strengthens the economic resilience of the Netherlands. The new organization will become a strategic player that enables innovation and future-oriented growth with impact both domestically and internationally.
The position
In this role you will assist the Company Secretary in structuring and organizing all decision-making within the company as well as coordinate relationships and discussions with stakeholders such as the Government the Shareholders and the Supervisory Board.
You will be directly involved in a flat dynamic organization where your contributions will be both visible and valued. Responsibilities
We are looking for an ambitious young professional with a strategic view a high degree of autonomy and a can-do mindset to successfully coordinate and execute both internally and externally. More specific responsibilities include the following:
Preparation and minute making of Management Team Management Board and Supervisory Board Meetings committees of the Supervisory Board and quarterly meetings with government share- and stakeholders.
Setting up and maintaining an annual meeting planning and coordinating follow-up internally.
Responsible for quality assurance and consistency of decision-making documents and meeting proposals.
Assist the Company Secretary in the daily operations of the company secretariat and represent him when necessary.
Taking initiative in drafting documents improving processes and standardizing procedures.
Assisting in stakeholder- and shareholder engagement with Ministries including bi-weekly meetings coordination of quarterly report meetings and periodic strategic meetings.
Assisting in public affairs activities with other businesses governments parliament and other parties for example stakeholder dinners discussion with Members of Parliament or writing lobby letters.
Maintenance of governance-related documentation including Chamber of Commerce registers and Authorized Representatives Register in close cooperation with internal Legal team.
Assisting or leading in Annual Report project management.
First point of contact for all internal questions related to governance management meetings and meeting documentation.
Requirement and characteristics
You have a masters degree in civil law public administration political science economics or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience in a complex public semi-public or corporate environment.
You are keen to execute and achieve results and assist in continuously improving the ways of working of the organization and have a high degree of autonomy.
You are pragmatic in finding ways to getting things done. You have the ability to work hard from a strong mindset and persevere.
You are able create structure and overview and dive into detail when necessary.
You can keep oversight in complex discussions in multiple organizational layers and large volumes of information and you have the skills to structure and filter information in an orderly and correct way with an eye for detail.
Strong networking and relation building skills taking into account different needs interests and cultural backgrounds.
Experience as a Secretary for management or executive meetings and/or knowledge about corporate governance and the Dutch Corporate Governance Code is a plus.
Experience working in matrix organizations closely cooperating with colleagues with other backgrounds placing value in processes and procedures yet aimed at results that favour the business on the short and long term.
Native Dutch speaker and fluent in English.

Salary scale 15. This indicates a monthly salary range between 4.565 and 5.421 gross excluding holiday allowance and 13th month based on a 40-hour workweek.
