Description:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Global R2R Operations General Ledger Controllership team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Ubandale Iowa. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The Global R2R Operations General Ledger Controllership team is responsible for general ledger transactional accounting and financial reporting.
Well count on you to:
Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
Prepare review and/or approve journal entries
Provide guidance and/or training to less experienced level of accountants
Assist in the development of process efficiencies
Assist in the monthly/quarterly reporting requirements
Perform other duties as assigned
What you need to have:
Bachelors degree in accounting or related fields.
5 years of accounting related experience
Ability to drive consistent execution and strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with both stakeholders and colleagues in a fast-moving professional team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including advanced Excel knowledge.
Ability to manage your work efficiently.
Strong financial and analytical skills
Meticulous attention to detail
