The organization offers long-term stability strong leadership access and meaningful growth potential.The ideal candidate is technically strong detail-oriented and comfortable operating in a fast-paced multi-entity environment.Position SummaryThe Staff Accountant will play a key role in day-to-day accounting operations month-end close reconciliations and financial reporting. This individual will partner closely with the Controller and finance leadership to ensure the accuracy integrity and timeliness of financial information.This role is well suited for someone who enjoys both tactical accounting execution and process improvement.Key Responsibilities- Maintain and manage general ledger activity across multiple entities
- Prepare and post journal entries accruals prepaids and adjustments
- Perform monthly bank cash and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and reporting packages
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation
- Support accounts payable and expense coding accuracy
- Assist with audit preparation and provide supporting documentation (PBC schedules)
- Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership to resolve accounting issues
- Identify opportunities to improve processes controls and efficiencies
Qualifications & Experience- Active CPA license required
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 57 years of progressive accounting experience
- Industry and/or public accounting background welcome
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience managing full-cycle accounting and month-end close
- Experience supporting audits and compliance
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables lookups reconciliations analysis)
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems (Dynamics NetSuite Sage or similar preferred)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Collaborative team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
