Job Duties and Responsibilities: Plans coordinates and implements a federally funded academic success component for 350 college students.
Services a caseload of 150 students as they navigate through college processes (Financial Aid Scholarship Academic and Professional environment) who are first-generation may have a financial need or may have a disability.
Caseload includes assessing needs and monitoring participants with academic challenges overall GPA below 2.0.
Makes participant referrals to campus and community resources.
Plans creates and implements the TRIO SSS Program activities calendar and workshop fliers
Assists with student recruitment activities.
Present TRIO SSS information across campus as requested.
Maintains recordkeeping procedures and manages appropriate department records in accordance with applicable regulations policies and standards.
Prepares semester and annual reports in evaluation of TRIO SSS Program and the Academic Success Component
Assists with the TRIO Student Support Services Annual Performance Report to the United States Department of Education.
Required Education and Experience:
Associates Degree 7 years of relevant experience or a Bachelors degree 5 years of relevant experience.
