This is a manager role for a standards and governance profile with at least 10 years relevant experience establishing technical governance frameworks for Mendix projects. The person will define implement and enforce Mendix development standards architectural guidelines and best practices while ensuring organizational compliance. The candidate must have deep technical Mendix expertise with hands-on project delivery experience providing the foundation to create practical and effective governance frameworks. This project experience is essential for understanding real-world implementation challenges and ensuring standards are both achievable and meaningful.
The role is expected to hold a valid Expert/ Intermediate Mendix certification and proven expertise in Agile methodology delivery including scaled Agile frameworks and iterative governance processes that support rapid development while maintaining quality and compliance.
The position may involve governance oversight for integrated technologies including RPA BPM workflow OCR generative AI data transformation and integrations as project scope dictates.

Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of governance standards across Mendix projects.
Implement and maintain Mendix development standards coding guidelines and architectural best practices across projects
Participate in periodic audits of Mendix applications governance and standards to ensure adherence to security performance and quality
Support the development and maintenance of governance documentation and procedures
Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Mendix applications using Mendix deployment tools and industry standard practices
Ensure automated testing code quality checks and security scans are integrated into deployment workflows
Monitor deployment processes and troubleshoot pipeline issues to maintain smooth delivery cycles
Review Mendix application architectures and designs for compliance with organizational standards
Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to development teams on best practices
Track and report on governance metrics compliance status and improvement opportunities
Support incident analysis and root cause investigations related to governance failures
Ensure adherence to Agile methodology of delivery
Develop and maintain incident response procedures and change management workflows specific to Mendix environments
Coordinate with operations teams during critical incidents to ensure swift resolution while maintaining audit trails
Ensure proper support frameworks are in place for all applications running in production environments
Participate in the definition and implementation of the Mendix CoE strategy standards and best practices.
Contribute to the development of reusable Mendix components and templates for workflow solutions.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of a Mendix knowledge base and documentation repository.
Develop training programs and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent processes across teams
Promote the adoption of Mendix best practices across the organization.

Technical Skills
Minimum 5-7 years of experience with Mendix platform development and administration
Mendix Workflow Solution Expert / Intermediate Certification
Strong experience with CI/CD tools and practices specifically for Mendix deployments
Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and branching strategies
Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and quality assurance processes
Governance and Process Experience
3 years of experience in technical governance compliance or quality assurance roles
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and governance integration points
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban SAFe) and governance integration within Agile frameworks
Knowledge of security standards data privacy regulations and compliance requirements
Experience managing production incidents and coordinating cross-functional response teams
Analytical and Communication Skills
Strong analytical skills with ability to identify patterns risks and improvement opportunities
Excellent documentation and communication skills for creating standards and procedures
Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships during incidents and changes
Ability to provide constructive feedback and guidance to development teams
Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure during critical incidents
Reporting Structure
This position reports directly to the Standards and Governance Lead and will work closely with development teams solution architects project managers and operations teams across the organization.
