DescriptionTechnician Supply Chain Position Summary
Responsible for stocking and maintaining supplies across hospital departments using computer-assisted tools and standard inventory practices to support efficient patient care operations. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.
Essential Functions
- Performs periodic cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory; adjusts inventory records as needed.
- Stocks units with office and medical supplies; prepares requisitions to maintain par levels.
- Receives shipments logs receipts enters data into the inventory system delivers items to departments or other facilities and reports/documents errors or damages to management.
- Answers the telephone receiving dock and walk-up window professionally; routes calls/messages appropriately.
- Completes clerical/computer tasks that support patient care delivery.
- Processes outgoing mail.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Education: High School diploma preferred. Skills: Critical thinking decisive judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment. Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple computer systems. Effective English communication (read write speak and understand). Ability to complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire.
