The Opportunity
The Project Expeditor collaborates with buyers and Project Managers in the US Project Management and Pipe Integrity teams to facilitate the procurement of materials and engineered equipment for pipeline projects and related facilities.
This role is accountable for ensuring timely delivery of equipment and materials in compliance with Purchase Order (PO) terms and conditions. Success in this position requires expertise in project expediting supply chain operations SAP and MOS systems and strong interpersonal skills within a dynamic environment.
What Youll Do
Expedite orders to ensure timely delivery of components and materials in alignment with project schedules.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date Material Status Reports for project team reference.
Proactively identify and communicate potential quality or delivery issues to Buyers and Project Teams.
Monitor supplier compliance with purchase order terms and promptly address deviations.
Obtain and document weekly status updates from vendors on critical items.
Record all vendor communications and meeting outcomes in accordance with established protocols.
Collaborate with the Material Coordinator to track and document material receipts from project locations.
Communicate critical updates and status changes promptly between suppliers Buyers and Material Coordinators.
Foster strong relationships and maintain consistent communication with business partners.
Organize early planning meetings with suppliers for critical equipment to clarify expediting expectations.
Ensure timely processing and reporting of information including any shipping schedule delays.
Coordinate third-party inspections as required.

Willingness and ability to learn and understand basics of both commercial aspects and technical elements of the accountable projects and their associated material requirements;
An equivalent combination of both experience and education will be considered
