Lead and direct the daily sales operations of the on-property Sales office serving as the primary hotel representative to prospective clients seeking guest rooms meeting space and food & beverage services.
Drive national sales efforts with a strong focus on the association market and large-scale meetings.
Proactively respond to sales inquiries while initiating new business through prospecting lead qualification and targeted outreach.
Build and maintain strong client relationships by entertaining clients conducting site visits and serving as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process.
Determine rates prepare and present proposals negotiate contracts and close business aligned with revenue and room-night goals.
Manage and service assigned accounts ensuring repeat business and long-term partnerships.
Analyze lost business and market trends to refine sales strategies and improve conversion.
Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed established revenue room night and market-share objectives.
Collaborate closely with hotel leadership and cross-functional departments (Operations Events Catering Revenue Management Marketing) to ensure seamless delivery of contracted services.
Recruit train coach and evaluate sales team members fostering high performance and professional growth.
