Job Summary
The Sales & Marketing Representative is responsible for driving referral growth brand awareness and community partnerships for About You in Home Care and Vital Medical Staffing in North Mississippi and South Tennessee. This role builds and maintains strong relationships with healthcare providers hospitals clinics senior living communities rehabilitation centers case managers employers and community organizations to generate service referrals and staffing contracts.
In addition the representative supports coordinated relationship-based marketing for Mississippi Department of Child Protection Services (MDCPS) and Tennessee Department of Childrens Services (DCS) by developing professional networks helping communicate available services/resources and strengthening collaborative pipelines aligned with agency standards.
This is a field-based role requiring consistent in-person outreach follow-up and strategic territory planning.
Key Responsibilities
1) Business Development & Referral Growth
- Develop and execute a weekly/monthly territory plan to increase referrals and contracts for both companies.
- Build referral partnerships with:
- Hospitals discharge planners case managers social workers
- Primary care and specialty clinics
- Rehabilitation and therapy providers
- Assisted living independent living memory care and SNFs
- Hospice and palliative care agencies
- Community organizations churches and senior resource networks
- Identify pursue and close new staffing accounts for Vital Medical Staffing (facilities clinics hospitals LTACHs etc.).
- Consistently meet activity and growth goals (visits calls presentations new accounts referral volume).
2) Sales & Marketing for About You in Home Care
- Promote non-medical caregiving services including companionship personal care respite transportation transitions of care and other home support options.
- Conduct in-service presentations and lunch-and-learns to educate referral sources about services eligibility and differentiators.
- Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth referral intake and high satisfaction among clients and partners.
3) Sales & Marketing for Vital Medical Staffing
- Promote staffing solutions for clinical and non-clinical roles including PRN contract and long-term placements.
- Present service capabilities credentialing standards turnaround times and value proposition to decision makers.
- Work closely with recruiting/HR to align client needs with available staff and pipeline development.
4) Public Agency Relationship Marketing (MDCPS & TN DCS)
- Cultivate professional relationships with agency staff regional offices community contractors and stakeholders.
- Assist in communicating available caregiving and staffing services that support children families or placements as applicable.
- Participate in community coalitions inter-agency meetings and events to strengthen trust and collaboration.
- Ensure all outreach complies with agency guidelines confidentiality expectations and ethical boundaries.
5) Community Outreach & Brand Awareness
- Represent all partner brands professionally at events health fairs chamber meetings and networking groups.
- Organize or support community initiatives that increase visibility and goodwill.
- Maintain a consistent social presence by sharing approved content success stories and educational materials.
- Coordinate marketing collateral distribution (brochures business cards flyers presentation decks).
6) Reporting CRM & Administrative
- Track all outreach activity referrals and sales pipeline in CRM or internal tracking system.
- Submit weekly reports including: visits made contacts added referral trends and next-step plans.
- Monitor competitor activity and report market insights.
- Maintain accurate and timely expense mileage and event documentation.
Performance Metrics / Success Indicators
- Growth in referral volume (home care) and contract volume (staffing).
- New accounts opened and retained.
- Weekly outreach targets met (face-to-face calls presentations).
- Event participation and follow-up completion.
- Partner satisfaction and retention.
- Quality and accuracy of CRM documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of proven sales healthcare marketing staffing sales or business development experience.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare referral ecosystems community resources or staffing procurement.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; confident presenter.
- Self-starter with strong territory management and time-blocking discipline.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation for daily field visits.
- Comfortable working across multiple service lines and audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in home care hospice senior services or medical staffing.
- Existing referral relationships in North MS / South TN.
- Familiarity with state child services agencies (MDCPS/DCS) or social service contracting.
- CRM experience (Keap Salesforce or similar).
