The Software Engineer II will contribute to the development and enhancement of our products features and engineering practices. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who can write clean reliable code and collaborate effectively with team members. You will participate in end-to-end development support technical implementation and help build scalable and high-performing solutions under the guidance of senior engineers and architects.
LOCATION
Remote / Hybrid - Chennai Tamil Nadu
Finalsite is a global company and to enable strong collaboration we have established common core working hours. Candidates should be comfortable working from 11:00-20:00 IST with core working hours being 18:00-20:00 IST
Essential Functions
Technical Mastery:
- Assist in developing and maintaining applications using C# (Framework 4.5 MVC Core).
- Contribute to building Web APIs and backend components as directed.
- Write clean readable and testable code while following established coding standards.
Cloud & Database Exposure
- Work closely with senior engineers to understand system architecture development workflows and best practices.
- Gain exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Good understanding of SQL databases and basic NoSQL concepts.
Frontend Support
- Assist with UI development using JavaScript jQuery HTML and CSS where required.
- Collaborate with team members to support full-stack features.
Quality & Collaboration
- Help with debugging testing and documenting features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA Product and Design.
- Follow sprint processes and deliver tasks with guidance from senior team members.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum hands off experience should be 3-4 yrs
- Proficient in C# with strong knowledge Framework 4.5 and MVC.
- Solid exposure Core development.
- Hands-on experience with Web APIs WCF Services and Windows Services (preferably Web API).
- Strong working knowledge of SQL databases and familiarity with NoSQL technologies.
- Strong knowledge in JavaScript jQuery HTML and CSS.
