Job Summary

First Class Child Care has been open since 1999. In 2020 we received our 5-star rating when we became accredited by NAC.

Children learn a lot within the first 5 years of their life. Our staff is here to help children learn and grow in these important years of their life. Our mission is to provide quality service that offers all children a safe and loving atmosphere in a learning environment. We are looking to hire a reliable patient and energetic teachers to join our team. Our center is open Monday-Saturday from 6am-midnight. Full-time and part-time positions available for both shifts. A few responsibilities teachers have are:

Create age-appropriate lesson plans and goals for children.

Make observations of children and maintain portfolios.

To ensure that children are safe healthy comfortable happy and free from hunger and fatigue.

Communicate with families children and staff in a positive and respectful manner.

Maintain confidentiality.

Continue education each year attend staff meetings and in-service and work assigned hours.

We offer vacation time health and dental insurance employee discount Aflac and TEACH scholarship program. We also offer paid holidays after 90 days. Pay is dependent on qualifications an education.

Requirements:

College preferred/ need at least the skills and strategies infant and toddler and introduction to the childcare profession classes.

CPR and first aid certification/ willing to obtain one.

The Association for Early Learning Leaders is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been serving directors owners and administrators of early care and education programs since 1984. Our goal is to strengthen the knowledge skills and abilities of directors owners emerging leaders and other early learning professionals to ensure quality programs for young children.
