A Windows Server Administrator to review monitoring dashboards (CPU memory disk network I/O) and eventlog alerts validate that overnight backups and replication jobs completed successfully. Triage new servicedesk tickets related to server outages performance degradation or useraccess issues. Investigate root causes apply fixes or workarounds and document resolutions in the ticketing system. Coordinate with application network or storage teams when multiple layers are involved. Patch Management and Maintenance assess and approve Windows Server patch releases security updates and firmware upgrades. Schedule and deploy updates in test environments; validate application compatibility. Roll out approved patches to production servers during approved maintenance windows
Develop or refine PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks (provisioning reporting patching)
Maintain and versioncontrol automation playbooks or configuration templates. Attend crossfunctional stand-ups or planning calls with network security database and application teams Maintain standard operating procedures and troubleshooting techniques Documentation
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelors
Degree Preferred:
Bachelors or masters in science Computer Science Engineering

Certifications Required:
1. Microsoft Learn completion for: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or equivalent certification
Certifications Preferred:
Familiarity with configurationmanagement tools (Ansible Chef Puppet)
Knowledge of security best practices vulnerability management and compliance frameworks (e.g. CIS NIST)
Exposure to containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes)

Install configure and maintain Windows Server operating systems ()
Administer Active Directory DNS DHCP Group Policy Objects and security policies
Manage virtualized environments using Hyper-V and VMware vSphere
Implement monitor and fine-tune patch management (WSUS SCCM) and server updates
Design and maintain backup recovery and disasterrecovery solutions (e.g. Veeam Azure Backup)
Automate routine tasks and workflows using PowerShell scripting and configurationmanagement tools
Monitor server health and capacity troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and resolve incidents in a 247 support model
Collaborate with network storage security and application teams on system integrations and infrastructure projects
Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations procedures and operational runbooks
Participate in architecture reviews and recommend improvements to enhance security scalability and reliability
Mentor junior administrators share knowledge and drive continuous process improvement
ITSM - Incident Change Service request management & problem management
Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or related field or equivalent professional experience
2 years of handson Windows Server administration in a production environment
Proficiency with Active Directory DNS DHCP Group Policy and PKI
Experience with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V and/or VMware)
Strong PowerShell scripting skills and familiarity with automation frameworks
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP routing switching firewalls)
Experience with patchmanagement solutions (WSUS SCCM) and backup/recovery tools
Working knowledge of SAN/NAS storage technologies and integration with Windows servers
Excellent problem-solving skills attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders
