As a Preschool Teacher youll play a vital role in creating a safe engaging and loving classroom where young children can grow socially emotionally cognitively and physically. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who thrives in a team-oriented setting and is passionate about play-based learning.
What Youll Do
- Create and implement hands-on play-based lesson plans that support kindergarten readiness
- Guide children in developing social-emotional skills confidence and friendships
- Observe and document learning using photos portfolios and classroom displays
- Communicate with families through both informal and formal daily interactions
- Maintain a clean safe and welcoming classroom environment
- Ensure compliance with childcare licensing standards and school policies
- Collaborate with fellow educators and attend team meetings and ongoing training
What Were Looking For
- Completion of Florida DCF 40-hour mandated training
- 35 years of experience in a preschool or early childhood education setting
- Strong understanding of child development and play-based practices
- Friendly enthusiastic and reliable personality
- Excellent communication skills and a love for working with families
- Familiarity with Creative Curriculum and/or Teaching Strategies GOLD (preferred)
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Compensation: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
The Association for Early Learning Leaders is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been serving directors owners and administrators of early care and education programs since 1984. Our goal is to strengthen the knowledge skills and abilities of directors owners emerging leaders and other early learning professionals to ensure quality programs for young children.
