Job Title: Sr Associate Experience : 6 Yrs.
Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Active Directory professional responsible for the advanced administration optimization and strategic enhancement of the enterprise-wide Active Directory environment. The candidate will lead initiatives to improve AD infrastructure ensure security compliance and drive cloud integration journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design implementation and management of Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure including domain controllers trust relationships OU structures Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and related services in a complex enterprise environment.
Oversee routine and complex AD administrative tasks such as advanced user and group management delegation of rights password policies and permissions at scale.
Proactively monitor troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AD replication TCP/IP DNS DHCP and other critical network services that impact directory performance and availability.
Develop and enforce enterprise-wide security policies using Active Directory and Group Policy to meet corporate security standards and regulatory compliance.
Serve as a subject matter expert on authentication protocols (LDAP Kerberos NTLM) and lead troubleshooting for authentication and access control issues.
Manage and optimize Azure Active Directory and hybrid identity solutions; lead the design deployment and maintenance of Azure AD Connect synchronization SSO solutions and multifactor authentication (MFA) strategies.
Plan design and execute disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for Active Directory services including comprehensive backup and restore processes.
Lead and coordinate Active Directory migration consolidation and upgrade projects ensuring minimal downtime and seamless transition.
Automate AD management tasks through advanced PowerShell scripting and potentially other scripting languages to enhance operational efficiency.
Develop and maintain detailed documentation of AD architecture policies procedures and troubleshooting guides.
Mentor junior team members and collaborate cross-functionally with other IT teams including Security Infrastructure and Cloud to align directory services with overall IT strategies.
Engage in capacity planning and performance tuning for Active Directory to support ongoing business growth.
Participate in vendor management and evaluation of AD-related tools and add-ons.
Required Qualifications:
6 years of hands-on experience managing Microsoft Active Directory environments in medium to large-scale enterprises.
Expert-level knowledge of Windows Server OS (2012/2016/2019/2022) and in-depth understanding of AD components such as FSMO roles Global Catalog Sites and Services and GPO management at scale.
Strong experience with Azure Active Directory hybrid identity solutions AD Connect and cloud identity management best practices.
Proven experience implementing security controls auditing and compliance in Active Directory.
Advanced skills in PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting purposes.
Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals including DNS DHCP and network security as they relate to AD.
Experience with enterprise-grade authentication and authorization mechanisms such as LDAP Kerberos NTLM and MFA implementations.
Demonstrated experience leading AD migrations upgrades or consolidation projects.
Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Certifications:
Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (Azure AD)
Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or equivalent advanced certifications
MCSE: Core Infrastructure or MCSE: Identity and Access Management
Education Qualification:
Higher Level Qualification in a technical subject is desirable
Any Microsoft Certification
