School age teaching staff is a full-time position in our Micro School Program which provides care to school-age students in grade K through grade 6. Duties will include supervising children assisting with daily virtual school implementing activities developing new programs and communicating with CDLC staff work collaboratively to meet the needs of children and families beyond traditional school with a structure educational program.
Primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Supervise and interact with students enrolled in the program
- Assist school age children with assignments
- Monitor students while they are on virtual schooling
- Establish and maintain student attendance and reporting procedures
- Communicate with parents regarding student participation
- Create and lead age-appropriate activities (inside & outside games crafts board games etc.)
Seeking Applicants with the following experience:
-A proven track record of caring and nurturing children to provide them with a great start to their educational careers
-The ability to meet state requirements for education and experience:
-Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work
-Must be at least 18 years of age
-Bilingual candidates highly needed
