Job Summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories Government Services Department seeks a professional collaborative and detail-oriented individual for our IT Analyst position in Pullman WA!

US Citizenship Required

As an IT Analyst a typical day might include the following:

Design implement research secure and support enterprise systems.
Identify and mitigate risks inherent in IT systems.
Monitor improve troubleshoot and perform capacity planning for systems.
Support and troubleshoot complex user requests.
Plan and manage projects. Create and maintain concise and thorough IT documentation.

2 years of related experience in a technical environment
Knowledge of IT methods practices procedures and policies
Desire for life-long learning to maintain a comprehensive understanding of evolving technologies
Experience teaching and mentoring IT interns and associates
Embraces dynamic fast-paced environments; adapts well to rapid change
Ability to participate in after hours on call rotation
Practices absolute confidentiality and unquestionable ethics
Excellent customer service commitment

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent work experience in an IT environment
Technical background and knowledge of manufacturing and/or engineering processes
Ability to meet Motor Vehicle Report Qualification Standards of SEL
Experience using programming languages and script writing

Pay Range Data

We anticipate filling this position as an IT Analyst - $84240 - $124461.

We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the salary range may differ if filled at a different level. Our ranges are determined by job responsibility and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience training knowledge and skills.
