Pastoral Teaching Assistant Barking & Dagenham January 2026

• Helping to maintain a safe supportive environment across the school day

What the School is Looking For

The school is seeking a patient calm and thoughtful individual who is genuinely committed to supporting young people.
A 2:1 or First-Class degree from a top UK university is preferred and any experience working with children or young people is an advantage. Strong communication emotional awareness and a proactive attitude are essential.

Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the UK as the school cannot offer visa sponsorship.

Salary & Contract Details

• 444 per week term-time only

• Full-time long-term role running from January to July

• Possibility of continued work or teacher-training routes for strong candidates
