As an IR Travel Nurse youll be the essential link between patient safety and procedural success. Responsibilities include thorough preprocedure assessments maintaining sterile technique assisting IR physicians during angiography and endovascular interventions setting up contrast and imaging equipment monitoring vitals and guiding patients through recovery and education. Youll document details in the electronic health record and contribute to quality improvement by staying current with IR best practices. The role offers clear growth avenues: deepen technical proficiency in vascular interventions expand into related imaging modalities and gain leadership experience as you partner with diverse teams.
