Role responsibilities encompass the full spectrum of oncology nursing: comprehensive patient assessments chemotherapy administration aligned with strict safety protocols monitoring for infusion reactions management of oncologic symptoms and education for patients and families about treatment plans symptom relief strategies and medication interactions. Youll oversee line care develop and adjust care plans in collaboration with physicians and pharmacists and document meticulously in electronic medical records to ensure continuity of care. Youll also participate in tumor boards participate in core nursing rounds and contribute to quality improvement initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes.
