Shift: Fulltime Day

Position Summary

Provides support to anesthesia providers under the direction of an anesthesiologist or CRNA.

Maintains anesthesia supplies and anesthesia equipment.

Qualifications and requirements

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Required

Certifications: Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS)Must have within 45 days of hire.

Required or three years relevant experience

Work Experience Previous health care experience as Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant preferred

Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision

Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Essential Functions

Stocks all anesthesia supplies in the operating room L&D and all anesthesia supply rooms.

Maintains equipment as anesthesia machines ventilators cardiac monitors fluid warmers end-tidal CO2 and pulse oximeters.

Assists with patient care Non-Essential Functions
