Role Scope:

We are looking for a dynamic service-orientedtherapyaidewho is passionate about supporting elderlypersonsin their journey. Thetherapy aidewillassistthe therapy department in day-to-day operations to ensure successful participant therapy and experience.

Participant Care

• Contribute to acenterexperience that Participants want to spend time in a team culture that cares and creates joy and an environment where all participants and team members belong.

• Exhibit and honor Habitats Values.

• Assistsa licensed Therapist in implementation of therapeutic treatment activities for patients as directed.

• Assembles adjusts adapts repairs and/or constructs simple equipment for elderly participants as instructed by aTherapist.

• Prepares andmaintainstreatment areas; cleans therapy gym treatment mats and equipment; and picks up equipment.

• Maintains inventory sets up forand leads recreational activities underdirectionof the recreational therapist.

• Performs related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of oneyearexperience working with the frail or elderly.

• Proof of medical clearance for communicable diseases including a TB test.

• Proof of all immunizations up to date.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience or education in physical occupational recreationaltherapy.

• Bilingual: Spanish preferred.

• A state issued drivers license personal transportation and auto insurance as required by law

Compensation:

We take into account an individuals qualifications skillset and experience in determining final salary. This role is eligible for medical/dental/vision insurance short and long-term disability life insurance flexible spending accounts 401(k) savings paid time off and company-paid holidays. The expected salary range for this position is $22- $26 per hour and is a bonus-eligible position. The actual offer will be at the companys sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations including the final candidates qualifications years of experience skillset and geographic location.
