As a global business Aberdeen consists of three divisions: Investments Adviser and interactive investor (ii). Each division is dedicated to meeting and adapting to our clients evolving needs.
Our Asia Pacific Investments business has a large dedicated and highly experienced investment team which has been investing across the region since 1985 and manages all our Asian products including regional country smaller companies and sustainable investing propositions.
The team has a strong regional footprint with offices in Singapore Bangkok Kuala Lumpur Tokyo Hong Kong Shanghai Seoul and Sydney. This breadth gives us close proximity to the companies we own and the markets we invest in. Our APAC operations have been based in Singapore since 1992. We invest in Asian companies to grow with them and to help them to become better investors.
As a Senior Reporting Analyst youll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth delivery of client reporting operations while acting as a key point of escalation for junior team members. Youll provide clear communication to the Client Reporting Manager identify and implement reporting solutions for client requests and drive continuous improvement across the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Support: Serve as the first escalation point for junior staff providing guidance and resolving complex reporting issues promptly.
- Client Communication: Deliver clear and timely updates to the Client Reporting Manager on team performance challenges and client-specific needs.
- Reporting Solutions: Analyse client requirements and develop innovative reporting solutions to meet bespoke requests from the client group.
- Report Delivery: Organise and deliver client reports to agreed schedules with precision and professionalism.
- Workflow Management: Oversee report workflows using Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Process Coordination: Manage changes to reporting procedures recipients and formats maintaining compliance and consistency.
- Performance Monitoring: Track daily team KPIs identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Ad Hoc Requests: Complete bespoke reporting tasks and coordinate data input for factsheets and client reports including commentary.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Finance Business Economics Data Analytics or a related discipline.
Experience
- 5-6 years of relevant experience in client reporting performance reporting investment operations fund administration or a similar analytical rolepreferably within asset management financial services or global shared services environments.
- Proven experience handling complex reporting workflows including escalation management
- Ability to manage tight reporting deadlines and coordinating across multiple stakeholders.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud tools (InDesign Illustrator or Acrobat) used in report or factsheet production.
- Comfortable working with large datasets performance data and multi-system reporting environments.
- Familiarity with reporting automation tools or workflow management platforms is a plus.
