Career Services empowers and supports Redbirds to achieve their professional goals by providing resources experiences and industry connections. The Assistant Director of Data Insights and Systems plays a critical role in advancing this mission by leveraging data and technology to inform strategy improve operations and enhance student success. This position ensures that Career Services operates as a data-informed organization connecting insights with technology solutions to improve student and alumni experiences as well as employer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead data analysis and reporting to deliver actionable insights for departmental and divisional decision-making.
Administer and optimize Career Services platforms ensuring data integrity security and usability.
Develop dashboards visualizations and reports that communicate trends and outcomes to stakeholders.
Oversee graduate outcomes data collection and reporting in alignment with NACE standards.
Collaborate with campus partners and vendors on system integration and data governance initiatives.
Provide training and support to staff on data systems and technology tools.

$5088 per month
1. Bachelors or equivalent degree in Business Administration Business Analytics Data Science Statistics or closely related field.
2. Three (3) years of full-time or part-time equivalent professional level work experience in project management data analysis and reporting (Excel Power BI SQL Tableau etc.).
3. Excellent communication and storytelling with data.
1. Masters degree in related field.
2. Experience working in higher education settings.
3. Experience managing CRM and/or SIS platforms.
Core hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm
Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:
1. Effectively communicate on a daily basis.
2. Move about in various locations across campus as needed to complete day-to-day work.
3. Occasionally and with assistance lift up to 30lbs for Career Services events/programs.

The Civil Service examination for this classification is based on your application materials and responses to the supplemental questions. No participation other than submission of applicant materials is required from applicants that qualify to take the exam. If you meet the minimum required qualifications for this position you will receive a score calculated based on your education and experience and your name will be placed on the active employment register by exam score. After the application deadline the names within the top three scores will be referred to the department for interview. The active register for this classification will be voided when the position is filled.
