Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging curriculum-aligned lesson plans for English language and literature.
Assess student performance through regular quizzes assignments projects and exams; provide timely and constructive feedback.
Create a positive inclusive and interactive classroom environment that encourages participation and critical thinking.
Integrate technology and multimedia tools to enhance learning and support diverse learning styles.
Collaborate with fellow educators and department heads to align teaching strategies and share best practices.
Support students with individual learning needs through differentiated instruction and intervention strategies.

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in English Education or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
Valid teaching certification or license (e.g. . CTET or equivalent).
25 years of proven experience in teaching English at the secondary or high school level.
Strong command of the English language including grammar vocabulary and literary analysis.
Demonstrated ability to design and deliver effective lesson plans aligned with national or institutional curricula.
Proficiency in using digital learning platforms (e.g. Google Classroom LMS interactive whiteboards).
Excellent communication interpersonal and classroom management skills.
Commitment to student-centered learning and continuous professional growth.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to evolving educational standards.
