- Lead mentor and develop a team of engineering professionals fostering a culture of innovation accountability and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all local national and international safety environmental and quality standards (including ISO OSHA and relevant statutory regulations).
- Manage engineering project lifecycles from concept to commissioning ensuring on-time delivery budget adherence and technical excellence.
- Drive process optimization initiatives to improve equipment reliability reduce operational costs and enhance production throughput.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations maintenance procurement and R&D to align engineering solutions with business objectives.
- Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Prepare and review technical documentation specifications drawings and performance reports.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to equipment efficiency downtime and project delivery.
- Represent the engineering function in strategic planning sessions and executive reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Industrial or Production Engineering (or equivalent field).
- 510 years of progressive experience in engineering management preferably within manufacturing process industries or heavy industrial environments.
- Proven track record of leading engineering teams and managing complex projects from inception to completion.
- In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing Six Sigma TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong understanding of industrial safety standards risk assessment and regulatory compliance in industrial settings.
- Proficiency in CAD software MS Project SAP or similar engineering and project management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving decision-making and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in managing capital projects vendor coordination and procurement processes is highly desirable.
