Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present a lovely opportunity for a flexible and friendly Housekeeper Cook to support a warm family with two young children aged one and three based in Exeter Devon. The family reside in a spacious five-bedroom property featuring a private spa and home office set within a pleasant residential area of this historic cathedral city. Working as a Housekeeper Cook in a private household combines high standards of housekeeping with thoughtful family-oriented meal preparation. This role will suit a candidate who enjoys maintaining a clean organised home while preparing nutritious vegetarian meals tailored to the preferences of both adults and young children. The successful Housekeeper Cook will demonstrate flexibility a positive attitude and the ability to manage household tasks efficiently while also being comfortable around children and contributing to a calm well-run home.

This position can be offered on either a live-out or live-in basis. For candidates choosing the live-in option the family provide a comfortable private bedroom within the house. For live-out candidates the role is based in Exeter and is accessible locally with amenities and transport links nearby. As the property is set within Devon which has more rural elements a driving licence and access to a personal vehicle can be beneficial for grocery shopping and errands. Free parking is available at the property and in some circumstances the principals may provide a car with automatic transmission although driving is not a mandatory requirement.

Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper Cook:

• Carrying out all general housekeeping duties ensuring the five-bedroom home is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and organisation.
  
• Preparing healthy well-balanced vegetarian meals for the family taking into account the preferences of both adults and young children.
  
• Planning menus shopping for groceries and managing household supplies efficiently.
  
• Managing all laundry duties including washing ironing and general wardrobe care.
  
• Liaising with and supervising contractors as required ensuring work is completed efficiently and to standard.
  
• Providing minor care for the familys pet fish including basic feeding and oversight.
  
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the household with a flexible and proactive approach.
  

Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper Cook job:

• Three or more years of private housekeeper experience.
  
• Two excellent checkable references.
  
• Conversational English.
  
• UK working permit.
