Carpenter MultiTrade

3 Month Contract With A Local Authority

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Multi-Trade Carpenter to perform a wide range of construction repair and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong carpentry skills along with experience in multiple trades such as drywall painting flooring basic plumbing and electrical work. This role requires versatility attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rough and finish carpentry work including framing doors windows cabinetry and trim
  

• Install and repair drywall ceilings and partitions
  

• Carry out basic plumbing tasks (fixtures leaks fittings)
  

• Perform basic electrical work (switches outlets lighting as permitted by regulations)
  

• Install flooring (tile laminate wood vinyl)
  

• Painting patching and surface finishing
  

• Read and interpret blueprints drawings and work orders
  

• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  

• Identify materials tools and equipment required for jobs
  

• Ensure work meets quality safety and building code standards
  

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  

• Coordinate with supervisors contractors and other trades as needed
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a carpenter or multi-trade technician
  

• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials
  

• Working knowledge of multiple trades (plumbing electrical painting flooring etc.)
  

• Ability to troubleshoot and solve on-site issues
  

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  

• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy materials
  

• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  

• Valid drivers license (preferred)
  

• Trade certification or apprenticeship (preferred but not mandatory)
  

• 3 years of experience in carpentry or multi-trade work
