Join a pioneering firm working on the UKs most ambitious clean energy projects. As a Renewable Energy Engineer youll contribute to the design development and optimisation of utility-scale wind solar and storage installations.

Job Responsibilities

Design and oversee renewable power installations
Work with planning and environmental teams
Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments
Support grid connection applications
Manage contractors and site audits

Requirements

Required Skills

Knowledge of solar/wind energy systems
Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background
Strong CAD and system design skills

Desired Skills

Experience with SCADA and storage solutions
G99/100 Grid Application expertise
Chartered or working toward CEng status

Required Skills Deep understanding of electrochemistry battery materials and energy storage systems Hands-on experience with lithium-ion solid-state or lithium-sulfur battery technology Familiarity with battery management systems (BMS) and safety protocols Strong analytical skills in battery performance cycle life and failure modes Proficiency in lab instrumentation test automation and data interpretation tools 9. Desired Skills Experience with simulation tools (COMSOL ANSYS MATLAB Python) PhD in materials science electrochemistry chemical engineering or related field Knowledge of energy markets EV battery trends and grid-scale storage Experience in scale-up manufacturing process development or industrial R&D partnerships Published research or filed patents in relevant areas
