The Pre-K Counts Assistant Teacher assist in providing a safe and developmentally appropriate preschool program in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assists the teacher in implementing developmentally appropriate preschool program for
young children: (meet physical emotional intellectual and social needs).
- Assists in providing activities for young children: (songs games stories puppet play
arts science and math) to engage in learning and imaginative play.
- Builds childrens self-esteem and social skills and assists in maintaining classroom
control.
Requirements: * Associates Degree from an accredited College/University in Early Childhood Education CDA Special Education or Elementary Education. * Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children. * Must be able to obtain Child Abuse State Police FBI Fingerprints and NSOR Verification.
