MaineGeneral Health is seeking a passionate and motivated Health Educator Specialist to join our Community Services this role youll plan coordinate and deliver impactful community health programs and initiatives that make a real difference.Job Description:
What Youll Do
Develop and deliver program content based on research data analysis and community needs
Provide health education and resources to diverse populations including staff patients families schools and community groups
Evaluate program effectiveness using measurable outcomes and adjust strategies as needed
Act as a resource and consultant for staff physicians agencies and other community health professionals
Collaborate on funding opportunities including grants and other resources to support program initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Public Health or a related field required
Relevant licensure or certification preferred depending on educational topics
Valid Maine drivers license with an acceptable driving record as defined by MaineGeneral Health policy
