Colorado School of Mines is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant III to support the dynamic Economics and Business Department. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience Only:
Three (3) years of administrative experience which included front desk reception records management event management/coordination and basic technical accounting/bookkeeping responsibility. (Experience must be clearly documented in the Work History section of your application. See Resume will not be accepted.)
OR
Education and Experience:A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to three (3) years. (TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE ATTACHED FOR EDUCATIONAL CREDIT.)
PREFERRED QUALIFICAITONS:
Proficiency with spreadsheet and word processing software (i.e. Word and Excel).
Daily interaction with students staff and faculty require this position to possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to establish rapport with people of diverse backgrounds.
Must have excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks make decisions independently and provide on-the-spot answers to administrative questions that arise.
Must have excellent judgment and discretion and be able to work confidentially with sensitive and protected information.
