Job Summary:

This individual will leverage their Payment Operations/Risk Management experience to support and enhance the ACH/EDI Operations department through metric development analysis and reporting at various levels. This role would support multiple related projects impacting ACH/EDI Operations by producing essential metrics needed for effective business decisions. This AVP will work closely with ACH Operations ACH Ops Support ACH Ops Initiatives project teams and other related functions to enhance processes and procedures through data metrics analysis and reporting deliverables. Additionally this role would support audit and control testing activities daily reconciliation of ACH work-in-process accounts quality reviews and business continuity management.

Responsibilities Include:

• Demonstrate knowledge of - and sensitivity to - the current regulatory environment impacting ACH and EDI Transmission services including NACHA Rules and data protection/integrity practices and supporting the production and implementation of metrics to proactively prevent detect and monitor performance.
• Engaging with cross-functional partners to support efficiency and streamline processes related to data capture output and dashboard production for daily management of operational tasks.
• The role is balanced between day-to-day operational reporting execution optimization supporting the strategic direction of the functional area account reconciliation compliance monitoring and projects for the ACH/EDI Operations department.
• Developing/revising implementing and monitoring quality service standards that align with target productivity levels and department goals. Provide regular reporting to management.
• Adhere to the Banks Risk Vision and risk management policies and programs; recognize and proactively address risk as new projects are implemented and drive solutions based on data and analysis.
• Communicate and collaborate with product owners implementation teams technology teams bank operations and other parts of the Bank to also include Internal/External Audit Risk and Compliance as needed.
• Supporting established routines for analysis and reporting of department capacity quality and performance standards and metrics.
• Supporting regular cadence of internal management committee and board reporting for the department and related products and ad hoc data requests.
• Providing risk management and ACH Rules compliance oversight for all internal/external change initiatives.

Role Attributes:

• In conjunction with management supports recommends and executes business plans for primary business function.
• Keeps abreast of new technologies and applications and their implications for assigned area.
• Extensive ACH payments knowledge and expertise is an asset.
• Familiarity with NACHA Rules EDI File Transmission protocols reporting standards and performance metrics is an asset.

Qualifications:

• Experienced in supporting financial services ACH/Payment Operations related control and risk management concepts account reconciliation and timely reporting deliverables.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and all levels.
• Self-starter ability to work independently excellent attention to detail and ability to meaningfully communicate data to multiple audiences.
• Proven track record of influencing and collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Education:

• Bachelors Degree required or demonstrated relevant work experience (3 years).

The typical base pay range for this role is between $89K - $112K depending on job-related knowledge skills experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonuses and/or incentive compensation.
