We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Plant Cleaner to join our team in a busy manufacturing facility. The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean safe and organized work environment to support daily operations.
What youll do
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize common areas production spaces offices and washrooms.
- Sweep and mop floors throughout the facility.
- Remove garbage recycling and other waste materials following company guidelines.
- Restock supplies such as soap paper towels and other items as required.
- Clean touch-point areas including door handles and railings.
- Maintain cleanliness of lunchrooms and washrooms.
- Notify supervision of any safety concerns maintenance needs or supply shortages.
- Follow all safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals and equipment properly.
- Assist with general housekeeping tasks to support a clean and safe manufacturing environment.
What youll need
Qualifications
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift cleaning supplies and equipment up and down stairs as well as perform physical tasks such as bending standing and walking for entirety of shift.
- Reliability and good attendance are essential.
