This role involves testing prototypes debugging hardware issues and collaborating with design and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hardware Validation & Testing:
- Perform functional electrical and environmental tests on hardware prototypes and production units.
- Validate PCB designs for signal integrity power integrity and thermal performance.
- Conduct stress and reliability tests (e.g. temperature cycling vibration ESD).
- Debugging & Issue Resolution:
- Use diagnostic tools (oscilloscopes logic analyzers multimeters) to troubleshoot hardware issues.
- Work with design engineers to resolve failures and implement corrective actions.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare validation plans test procedures and detailed reports.
- Document test results and provide recommendations for design improvements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Coordinate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth product development.
